SEASIDE classes are field-intensive and/or lab-intensive, hands-on undergraduate classes designed to provide ecologically-relevant training in field, lab, and other practical scientific techniques.

For Summer 2010, all  SEASIDE classes are half-credit Biology (BIOL) classes at  Dalhousie University, each equivalent to a one-semester or one-term class of 3 credit-hrs. Some are also cross-listed as Marine Biology (MARI), Oceanography (OCEA) or Environmental Science (ENVS). All classes are offered ONLY in the summer. The classes will be taught by different instructors, assisted by a variety of guest instructors and teaching assistants.
